About Rachel
With 8 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian and a background in culinary arts, I bridge the gap between clinical nutrition and the joy of cooking. My journey began in 4-H, where I discovered a lifelong affinity for food and a passion for sharing why it’s so vital for our health. While I refined my skills in culinary school, I soon realized my true calling was working directly with people to help them achieve their personal nutrition goals.
Approach to care
I’ve always preferred the outpatient setting because I love helping clients set and reach sustainable goals. I am naturally curious and love trying new things, whether it's testing a new recipe in the kitchen, exploring a new hiking trail, or putting my problem-solving skills to the test in an escape room. I bring that same inquisitive, solution-oriented mindset to our work together.
Your first session with Rachel
In our first session, we will conduct a deep dive into your current lifestyle, including your medical history, daily routine, and personal food preferences. We’ll delve into your specific likes and dislikes so that every recommendation I provide is both practical and evidence-based. We will work together to identify barriers and brainstorm creative, manageable solutions tailored to you. You will walk away with a personalized, achievable action plan that fits seamlessly into your schedule.
