About Rachel
Hi, my name is Rachel and I am a Registered Dietitian based in Los Angeles, California. I am passionate about helping people enhance their health and quality of life through nutrition. My specialties include pediatrics, pre- and postnatal nutrition, diabetes, heart health, and PCOS. Using nutrition to manage my own PCOS is what inspired me to become a dietitian. I completed extensive training at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, where I worked with children and adolescents with diabetes, weight gain challenges, and picky eating. I believe in a family-centered approach to care, especially when working with children and teens. I have experience supporting women, infants, and children in healthy eating habits and shopping and cooking skills, empowering clients to create healthy eating habits for themselves and their families. Recently, I have been working closely with adults, providing nutrition education focused on diabetes and heart health.
Approach to care
I take an individualized approach to care, working collaboratively to create a personalized nutrition plan tailored to your goals and comfort level. My holistic approach goes beyond just diet—I consider factors like sleep habits, physical activity, stress levels, cultural preferences, and financial resources to develop a well-rounded plan that fits your lifestyle. The nutrition education I provide is research-based, and together, we will set SMART goals to help you achieve both your short-term and long-term health objectives. I’m truly excited to support you on your health journey and look forward to working alongside you.
