About Rachel
Hi there! My name is Rachel and I’m based in San Francisco, California. I’m here to work with you on your nutrition concerns, which may include high blood sugar, digestive issues, kidney disease, liver disease, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol. My goal is to help you make lasting changes that fit your lifestyle to improve your overall health and well-being. I have extensive clinical experience in nutrition-related chronic disease management from my time at Kaiser, Satellite Health, and Project Open Hand. I earned both my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Master of Nutritional Science and Dietetics degrees from U.C. Berkeley.
Approach to care
I believe that each nutrition session is a collaborative process between us to work toward your goals. Together, we will develop a plan that considers your food preferences and personal circumstances. I strive to practice cultural relevance and believe that all foods can fit within a healthful eating pattern. My goal is for you to leave our sessions feeling confident in your ability to manage your nutrition independently.
Your first session with Rachel
In our first session, I’ll collect information to understand your nutrition needs and goals from a holistic perspective. Then, I’ll provide information tailored to your interests and focused on helping you manage your health effectively. Lastly, we’ll set realistic goals for you to work on so you can start taking charge of your health today!
