About Rachel
Hi there! My name is Rachel, and I’m from San Francisco, California. I’m here to work with you on your nutrition concerns, which may include high blood sugar, digestive issues, kidney disease, liver disease, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol. My goal is to help you make lasting changes that fit your lifestyle and improve your overall health and well-being. I have extensive clinical training in nutrition-related chronic disease management and treatment from my one-year supervised practice experience at the University of California, Berkeley. I also earned both my Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and my Master of Nutritional Science and Dietetics from UC Berkeley.
Approach to care
I believe that each nutrition session is a collaborative process between us to work toward your goals. Together, we will develop a plan that considers your food preferences and personal circumstances. I strive to practice cultural relevance and believe that all foods can fit within a healthful eating pattern. My goal is for you to leave our sessions feeling confident in your ability to manage your nutrition independently.
Your first session with Rachel
In our first session, I’ll collect information to understand your nutrition needs and goals from a holistic perspective. Then, I’ll provide nutrition education tailored to your interests and focused on helping you manage your health effectively. Lastly, we’ll set realistic goals for you to work on so you can start taking charge of your health today!
