About Rachel
Hi, I'm Rachel. I have 9 years of experience as a Integrative Functional Medicine focused Registered Dietitan and Lactation Consultant. I received my Master's at Harvard University and my career spans clinical and hospital settings, research and academia, and community health, which helps me see nutrition as part of the whole person. When I'm not working, you might find me in a [solidcore] class, running, cafe hopping, or cooking. I bring warmth, curiosity, and a commitment to sustainable change to every patient interaction.
Approach to care
I believe nourishment is personal, and lasting health comes from understanding the whole person. My approach is evidence-based and collaborative, guiding you with clear, doable steps while staying curious about your unique story. I embrace a Health At Every Size perspective, focusing on behaviors and well being rather than numbers on a scale. I strive to be empathetic and warm, creating a nonjudgmental space where you feel seen. Education is central so you leave with practical knowledge you can apply every day, sustainably, for life.
Your first session with Rachel
Think of our first meeting as a conversation, not an evaluation. We'll do a deep dive into your relationship with food, review your medical history, and explore your current routines and challenges. Together we'll establish one or two realistic short-term goals and map out practical steps you can try in the days and weeks ahead. You don't need to have it all figured out yet; we’ll move at a pace that feels safe, supportive, and right for you.
