About Rachel

Registered dietitian nutritionist. I am a Rochester, MN Mayo Clinic Dietetic Internship graduate with a master's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. I aspire to help others intuitively nourish their bodies, provide evidence-based nutrition education on how to do so, and help patients become a better version of themselves.

Approach to care

Overall, my approach to care is person-centered and looking at not only the whole person but the big picture (stress, work life, home life, etc.). Let's not just look into your medical history, surgical history, medications, weight history, lab values, etc, but lets also discuss how you manage your stress, sleep habits, movement, etc. Building off of all of this, together we can create a plan that will help you get closer to where you want to be. (I am also working as an inpatient dietitian at a hospital. So, while I am part time with Nourish, I am continuing to practice and be up to date on current recommendations).

Your first session with Rachel

Let's chat! I like to create a low-pressure, non-judgmental atmosphere as I feel that the more honest a patient can be, the better I can serve you. Lets discuss where you're at with your nutrition-related issue and let's work together to get you closer to where you'd like to be. If you're ready to make changes then lets hit the ground running! My nutrition educations, guidance, and other advice is evidence-based.
