About Rachel
I have 15 years as a Registered Dietitian and hold a BS in Human Nutrition, Foods and Exercise; Dietetics. Much of my career has been spent in clinical hospital settings, where I learned practical problem solving for complex needs, and I also completed CNSC training to deepen that work. I've worked primarily in the adult ICU and neonatal ICU settings but have experience in a little bit of everything. Outside the clinic you'll find me tackling a home improvement project, trying a new restaurant, baking, or playing with my son.
Approach to care
Science guides the care I offer, and I pair evidence-based practice with a warm, judgment-free stance. I draw on my clinical experience and CNSC background to give clear, practical steps, while honoring your priorities and pace. We will focus on sustainable habits that fit your life, use a weight-neutral perspective to avoid diet culture, and consider mental, emotional, and physical factors. I aim to teach you the why behind each strategy so you feel confident making lasting change together.
Your first session with Rachel
Expect a relaxed, reassuring conversation where we'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you have, so we can see the full picture. We'll talk about your routines, challenges, and what matters most to you, then establish one to two short-term goals that feel doable. You don't need to have everything figured out. We'll leave with clear next steps and a plan that fits your life, not a one-size-fits-all prescription.
