About Rachel
Hi, I'm Rachel. I have five years of experience as a Registered Dietitian, and I earned my MS in Nutrition Science from SUNY Oneonta. I've worked in clinical and hospital settings and in an outpatient metabolic clinic, where I learned that science and daily life go hand in hand. I hold CNSC, CDN, and RDN credentials, which keep me grounded in evidence while staying curious and approachable. When I'm not at the desk, you'll find me outdoors hiking, skiing, practicing yoga, or curled up with a good book. I'm excited to learn about you.
Approach to care
My care philosophy blends evidence-based nutrition science with empathy and warmth. I believe in asking questions, listening deeply, and co-creating a plan that fits your life, not the other way around. We'll focus on lasting habits and practical steps you can stick with, rather than quick fixes or dieting fads. I practice with a Health at Every Size lens and a holistic view that honors mental, emotional, and physical well-being. You bring your goals and values, and I bring clear explanations, hands-on guidance, and ongoing support so you feel confident making informed choices that work for you long-term.
Your first session with Rachel
Our first appointment is all about you. We'll talk about your relationship with food, your goals, and what success feels like to you. I'll also learn about your health status, labs, and biometrics to tailor a realistic plan. No pressure, no judgment, just a collaborative conversation where you set the pace. You don't need to have everything figured out yet; we will explore together what matters most and identify one or two doable short-term goals to get started. I'm here as your guide and partner on this journey.
