About Rachel
Hi! I'm Rachel. I have been a Registered Dietitian since 2012 and have gained extensive experience working with a diverse client-base throughout my career. I was born and raised in NYC but have lived in the Philadelphia area since 2017. I’m particularly passionate about the behavior and psychology that drives eating and helping clients uncover the root causes behind their habits to create meaningful, lasting change.
Approach to care
My approach is compassionate, nonjudgmental, and collaborative. I aim to blend evidence-based guidance with practical solutions, using clear and simple explanations to make complex nutrition concepts easier to understand and apply. I will meet you where you are and offer tools that empower you to make meaningful changes at your own pace. My sessions are a safe, comfortable space where you’ll feel heard, validated, and supported. Our health is a constantly moving target, and I want to support you moving along with it.
Your first session with Rachel
In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other. I’ll ask about your health history, lifestyle, and goals to get a full picture of what matters most to you. We will work together to create a plan that’s personalized, feels manageable, and is realistic for your body and your life.
Location
📍 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Education
I have a BS in Health and Nutrition Science, Foods and Nutrition Concentration from CUNY Brooklyn College. I have also completed additional certificate programs including a Certificate of Training in Integrative and Functional Nutrition, a Certificate of Training in Obesity Interventions for Adults, and the Plant Based Nutrition Certificate from eCornell and T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies. I am a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer.
Hobbies
When I’m not working, you’ll find me trying to keep my jungle of houseplants alive (yes, they’ll make a cameo in our sessions), planning my next trip or live music adventure, doing crafts or spending time with friends and family. My dog is my favorite co-worker.
