About Rachel
Rachel is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who holds an MPH in Public Health Nutrition and completed her dietetic internship at the University of Washington. She brings experience across multiple care settings, including inpatient clinical nutrition, outpatient counseling, and community-based nutrition services. She has worked with clients with conditions including, but not limited to, diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, kidney disease, and digestive issues.
Approach to care
Rachel is a strong believer that one size does not fit all when it comes to nutrition education and counseling. Her non-judgmental, client-centered approach will mean working collaboratively to figure out what work best for you as an individual and developing goals that feel manageable and sustainable.
Your first session with Rachel
During you first session, Rachel will spend time getting to know more about you and your relationship with food. This includes a full assessment where Rachel will gather information on medical and nutrition history and develop an understanding of what is most important for you to focus on. Together, you will create initial nutrition goals that feel realistic and develop a step-by-step plan to achieve those goals.
