About Rachel

I’m Rachel, a dietitian with 13+ yrs experience. Over time, I’ve learned clients are best served when care is focused, intentional, and individualized, which is why I’ve dedicated my work and expertise to GLP-1 nutrition counseling and gut microbiome health. I’ve guided 300+ patients through GLP-1 therapy, supporting sustainable outcomes through adequate nutrition, side-effect management, and long-term behavior change - helping them reach their weight loss goals without jeopardizing their health. With 5+ yrs experience in microbiome science, I help clients understand how gut health influences immunity, mood, and weight. Outside of work, I’m a mom to 4 kids and a dog. I love Pilates, baking, and traveling. I’m passionate about exploring different cultures through food and am deeply committed to serving food-insecure communities and ensuring all children have access to the nutrition they deserve.

Approach to care

I take a judgment-free, compassionate approach to counseling and firmly believe that food is meant to be enjoyed. I also give practical, science-backed solutions and advice that work for your individualized lifestyle, whether you are a road warrior or trying to feed a whole family. I’m big on education and setting you up with the knowledge and tools you need so that, over time, you no longer need me because health is a life-long journey and my job is to ensure you have the knowledge and confidence to thrive long after our time together.

Your first session with Rachel

Your first session is all about YOU. Think of it as the start of a collaborative journey: one focused on learning, understanding, and meaningful change. I’ll be your cheerleader and guide along the way. During our initial call, I spend time listening and gathering information - your health history, goals, challenges, lifestyle, and relationship with food. I may offer a few initial suggestions, but more importantly, I’ll use this session to collect the information needed to support you well. Because there is not a one-size-fits-all, I’ll outline a personalized plan tailored specifically to you. This may include targeted lab work, calorie cycling, GLP-1 nutrition support, microbiome education, as well as practical nutrition tips and meal ideas.
