About Rachel
Hi, I’m Rachel, a Registered Dietitian based in Livonia, Michigan. I bring two years of experience in clinical and hospital settings, where I’ve learned that real change starts with listening. I earned my BS in Nutrition and Dietetics and an MS in Nutrition and Wellness, and I weave evidence-based science into everyday practice. When I’m not helping clients, you’ll find me running, biking, reading, or crushing a workout. I value curiosity, patience, and practical steps that add up to lasting health.
Approach to care
My care philosophy centers on partnership, clarity, and lasting change. I practice with a weight-neutral, evidence-based approach that honors your unique body and lifestyle. I’m warm and empathetic, meeting you where you are and speaking plainly about actionable steps. I view health holistically, considering sleep, stress, movement, and your relationship with food as interdependent pieces. Education is key; together we’ll build sustainable habits that fit your life and values, not a quick fix or a trend.
Your first session with Rachel
Our first appointment is about you. We’ll review your medical history, discuss your relationship with food, and set short-term goals that feel doable. Think of it as a collaborative conversation rather than an exam. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we meet; I’ll ask questions and listen, and we’ll outline a clear, manageable plan for the next steps. By the end, you’ll have a sense of what we’re aiming for and a couple of concrete goals to start with.
