About Rachel
Hi, I'm Rachel! I was born and raised in New Mexico, recently re-located to Arizona. Education is a strong passion of mine, so I love being able to teach and share nutrition knowledge that will help others on their unique health journey. Having worked in an ICU setting, I became comfortable with a variety of conditions and their nutrition components (examples include heart disease, diabetes, malnutrition, and those involving tube feeding). Being a trainer at the gym, I have a strong background combining nutrition and exercise and would be a great fit if you are interested in weight management.
Approach to care
I take a realistic, comforting, and evidenced-based approach to care. My nutrition guidance is formed by the knowledge and understanding we build together with tools and resources that are available to you. We go at your pace, and I want you to feel safe and heard. I intend to help you make practical and sustainable changes with a positive attitude and continuous encouragement.
Your first session with Rachel
Your first session is all about YOU. I will gather data related to your health history and concerns; your current diet intake and preferences; but I really want to know about your lifestyle and personal goals. With this, we can work together to form an individualized plan.
