About Rachel
Hi All! My name is Rachel VanWoerden. I began my career as a Registered Dietitian with one goal, to help others find health and wellness by looking at behavior change in eating. From a weight neutral and all foods can fit perspective, I want to help you reflect on your relationship with food and body to pursue your nutrition goals. My 9+ years of experience was focused in counseling clients who struggle with eating disorders in the residential, inpatient setting.
Approach to care
Have you ever felt off, disconnected from your body, frustrated with what food to choose, how to eat, or just not yourself? Nutrition is essential but filtering out diet culture can be extremely hard. I want to encourage you to explore, be curious, and give yourself time to achieve your goals with nourishment. I counsel from a weight-neutral approach, focused on accountability, and encouraging self-compassion. We will walk toward your nutrition goals together.
Your first session with Rachel
Let's connect, have a warm conversation, and build mutual rapport. I want to learn about your history, life story, and journey through eating. We will align on setting small goals to begin taking steps toward nourishing you as a whole through body, mind, and soul.
