About Rachel
Hi, I’m Rachel and I’m a nutrition nerd! I love learning about all things food and nutrition. Studying the science behind it all helped me shed many of the negative assumptions and messages I had regarding health and weight from my upbringing and surrounding culture. As my understanding changed, I was able to partner with my body and change how I care for myself and my health. I want to help you do the same.
Approach to care
You are the expert on your life and your body. For most of our lives, we’re encouraged to look outside ourselves for guidance. My role as your dietitian is to help you tune into and trust yourself and your body. We’ll work together as you transform your health knowledge into action, identifying any barriers that come up along the way and problem solving with self-compassion and curiosity. Consider me a little boost of information, accountability, and support to work on the goals that are most important to you.
Your first session with Rachel
I want to get to know you! We’ll talk about your current habits and food routine, along with any long-term health goals that you have in mind. I also like to take some time to explore your relationship with food and your body and how that has evolved over the course of your life. With your health history and health goals in mind, we’ll begin setting small action goals for you to start working on.
