About Rachell

Hi, I’m really glad you’re here! I became a dietitian because caring for people has always felt natural to me. I grew up in a close Dominican family where food was how we connected, celebrated, and supported each other, and that shaped the way I view nutrition today: personal, emotional, and part of everyday life. Outside of work, I love traveling, exploring new restaurants, trying new recipes, and spending time with my husband and family. I understand how busy life can get and how easy it is to put your own needs last, which is why I’m passionate about helping people build routines that feel realistic and kind. My experience working with people during challenging health moments taught me to listen deeply and support without judgment. When we work together, you’ll have a calm, encouraging space to be yourself, talk about what’s really going on, and take small steps that help you feel better in your daily life.

Approach to care

My approach starts with getting to know you, your routines, challenges, and what you hope will feel different in your everyday life. I focus on realistic, flexible changes that fit who you are, not strict rules or pressure. I pay close attention to how food impacts your energy, mood, and overall well-being. Together, we’ll create a plan that feels supportive and doable, one step at a time. My goal is to help you feel more confident, more balanced, and more at peace with your choices.

Your first session with Rachell

Your first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk through what’s been going on with your health, what feels hard right now, and what you hope will feel different. I’ll ask about your daily routines, symptoms, stressors, and what support has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. There won’t be pressure to have everything figured out. By the end of the visit, we’ll create a clear, realistic starting plan that feels doable, something that brings relief rather than more stress. My hope is that you leave feeling understood, hopeful, and supported with a path that makes sense for your life.
