About Rae Ann

Hi! I’m Rae, a weight-neutral registered dietitian based in Colorado with 6 years of experience. I’m passionate about helping people heal their relationship with food and body in a world obsessed with thinness and full of nutrition misinformation. Having overcome my own struggles with disordered eating, I understand how overwhelming it can feel. I strive to create a safe, judgment-free space for my clients. I especially enjoy supporting women through pregnancy and postpartum when body changes can feel particularly challenging. My goal is to help you trust your body, find peace with food, and improve health outcomes. When I’m not working with clients, I’m with my husband and our 11-month-old, hiking, fishing, or exploring local restaurants and craft breweries.

Approach to care

My approach is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves to feel their best and understand how to nourish their well-being with food that feels both accessible and enjoyable. I am a weight-neutral dietitian, meaning I focus on health-promoting food and lifestyle behaviors vs. the weight on the scale. I’ll meet you where you are—whether you’re ready to let go of dieting or just starting to explore what that might look like. Sessions are casual and supportive, like talking with a friend. Together, we’ll explore your relationship with food and body, use tools like Intuitive Eating, and gently sift through the noise of diet culture. You won’t find macro tracking, rigid exercise plans, or restrictive rules here—in fact, quite the opposite. My goal is to help you take small, meaningful steps toward a compassionate, sustainable approach to health.

Your first session with Rae Ann

Our first session is about getting to know you first and foremost. We’ll talk about your relationship with food, your struggles, lifestyle, and medical history. From there, we’ll begin creating a plan centered around healing, starting with small, realistic steps that support you in feeling more at ease with food and your body. My primary goal is for you to leave each session feeling excited and empowered to move forward!
