About Rae

Welcome! My name is Rae. I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who has worked in a variety of areas during my 5 years as a dietitian thus far, including - but not limited to - eating disorder recovery, inherited metabolic disorders, neonatal nutrition, general pediatric nutrition, pediatric diabetes management, and nutrition support (tube feeding and parenteral nutrition). I find purpose and fulfillment in helping those around me feel empowered.

Approach to care

My approach to care begins by providing a judgement-free, compassionate, and client-centered environment. My practice is guided by a weight-neutral, evidenced-based, and practical approach to nutrition. My goal is to help you cultivate sustainable habits that propel you toward your personal health goals. I feel the best way to do this is to work together to set individualized, realistic, and balanced goals for you that you can build upon those goals over time. My wish is to provide you with the education, tools, and resources you need in order to enhance your quality of life while building a positive relationship with nutrition and with your body.

Your first session with Rae

You can think of our first session as a warm welcome. We will get to know one another, review your medical history, and explore your current lifestyle and relationship with food. You do not need to arrive with pre-made plan or written out list of questions (unless you want to). We will establish some short-term goals through conversation. My hope for you is that by the end of our first session, you feel supported and have one, two or maybe three small goals that you feel confident in being able to achieve.
