About Rama

My passion for nutrition comes from a deep belief that food is at the heart of health and well-being. I’ve had the privilege of working in both inpatient and outpatient settings with children and adults, supporting them through various stages of growth, recovery, and lifestyle change. These experiences have strengthened my belief that nutrition plays a powerful role in disease prevention and management, and that small, sustainable changes can make a lasting impact. I’m especially passionate about helping children build a strong foundation for lifelong health and guiding adults to develop a positive, balanced relationship with food. To me, nutrition isn’t just about what we eat, it’s where healing, growth, and confidence begin.

Approach to care

My care approach is grounded in compassion and evidence-based practice. I specialize in pediatric nutrition, helping children achieve optimal growth and development throughout every stage of life, from infancy and adolescence through the transition into adulthood. I also work with adults to improve their relationship with food by meeting them where they are and creating realistic, sustainable strategies that support their unique goals. My philosophy centers on empowering people to feel their best through balanced nutrition, mindful habits, and a non-restrictive approach

Your first session with Rama

The first session is all about you! We’ll begin with a comprehensive nutrition assessment to better understand your medical history, eating habits, lifestyle, and any medications or supplements you may be taking. We’ll also discuss your goals, challenges, and what you hope to achieve through nutrition counseling. This session helps me get a full picture of your needs so we can create a personalized, realistic plan that supports your health and fits your lifestyle.
