Patient reviews

  • Rebecca was exceptional working with my autistic son. She explained everything in detail and made her explainations easy to understand. She made sure that all questions were answered before ending each session. My son’s A1C was reduced 5 points and he is no longer reaching the pre-diabetes range. He looked forward to his sessions with her!

  • Although this was an introduction session, Rebecca was informative and pleasant to talk to.

  • Always helpful in helping me with coming up with solutions with my meal prep and research on meditation.

About Rebecca

Rebecca is a Registered Dietitian and National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach. She is also a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. She has trained on the use of a low FODMAP diet for IBS by Monash University. Rebecca began her career working in the kidney disease field, in both the dialysis and transplant settings. From there she moved into the primary care setting, working with individuals in a variety of nutrition areas, including general health and well being, and the management and prevention of chronic conditions, including diabetes, heart disease, liver disease, and metabolic syndrome.

Approach to care

Rebecca believes there is no one size fits all when it comes to nutrition, which is why she takes an individualized approach with each client to ensure the best care is provided. A client first approach is how she treats each visit.

Your first session with Rebecca

In an initial visit Rebecca spends ample time getting to know you! It's important for Rebecca to understand what your health journey has looked like thus far. This includes learning about your health now, and what you envision it looking like in the future. From here she will work with you to develop appropriate action steps to move you forward, always ensuring that your needs are a top priority.

She completed her Bachelors degree in Nutrition as well as her dietetic internship at the University of Delaware. She then went on to complete her Masters degree at Rowan University.

Hobbies

You can almost always find Rebecca reading a good book. If not, you'll probably find her in the kitchen trying out a new recipe, or repeating a much loved one. She's also a big fan of spending time outdoors - whether it's walking, biking, hiking or running. Wherever she is, you'll almost always find her dogs Hunter & Henri nearby!
