About Rebecca
Nutrition has been a throughline for me since graduate school at the University of Alabama, where I earned an MS in Human Nutrition. With nine years as a Registered Dietitian, I have supported people across clinical hospital settings, corporate wellness, and long-term care. As an RDN and LDN I aim to translate evidence into practical steps you can use every day. When I’m not working you’ll find me running, biking, cooking or baking, traveling, playing with my son and taking the dog for walks. I’m excited to partner with you to educate and empower lasting change.
Approach to care
Evidence and empathy guide how I support people. I use current research and proven protocols to create clear, actionable strategies, while keeping the conversation warm and judgment-free. I work from a weight-neutral, HAES-informed perspective that focuses on behaviors and wellbeing rather than numbers. Together we’ll address the whole person, blending practical skills, education, and accountability to build sustainable habits that fit your life.
Your first session with Rebecca
Expect a relaxed, collaborative conversation where we’ll start by reviewing your medical history and getting to know one another. I prioritize building rapport, initiating an open dialogue about routines, wins, and frustrations, and making space for whatever you bring. You don’t need to have all the answers. Together we’ll identify a couple of manageable, science-based steps so you leave with clarity and confidence rather than pressure.
