About Rebecca
My love of cooking at a young age led me to the field of dietetics. I get the most satisfaction out of teaching clients how to eat the right foods and promote better health. In my spare time you can find me somewhere on our farm at Up A Creek Farm, either in the garden, cooking up a delicious recipe or tending to our animals.
Approach to care
As a Licensed Registered Dietitian and Integrative Nutrition Certified Practitioner, I take a holistic approach to health that considers the whole person. I believe that true wellness is achieved not just through treating symptoms, but by addressing the root causes of imbalance. Food is a powerful form of medicine, and I use evidence-based nutritional therapy to support healing, vitality, and long-term wellness. My care philosophy is grounded in the understanding that every individual is unique, and so is their path to optimal health. I combine traditional dietetic principles with integrative and functional nutrition strategies to develop personalized plans that nourish the body, support emotional well-being, and promote sustainable lifestyle change. Whether you're looking to manage a chronic condition, improve your relationship with food, or simply feel your best, my goal is to empower you with the knowledge and tools you need to thrive—naturally and holistically.
Your first session with Rebecca
In our first session, we’ll take a deep dive into your overall health, lifestyle, and nutrition history to get a full picture of where you are and where you want to go. This session is a chance for us to explore your current symptoms, medical history, eating habits, stress levels, sleep, physical activity, and other daily routines that may be impacting your well-being. We’ll also discuss your personal goals, motivations, and any challenges you’ve faced along the way. My aim is to create a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard and understood. By the end of the session, you’ll receive a few personalized, practical recommendations to start implementing right away, and we’ll talk about a plan for ongoing support, which may include follow-up visits, lab testing, or targeted supplementation. Most importantly, this is the beginning of a collaborative partnership focused on empowering you to take charge of your health—holistically and sustainably.
