About Rebecca
I have been a dietitian for 10 years, and most of this work has been in one on one counseling. I have experience working with clients that need help managing specific diets such as people with diabetes or clients with gut health issues such as IBS. I am now a Mom of two young children and have spent a lot of time in these last few years navigating my own health and nutrition while pregnant and breastfeeding, and managing the diet of a toddler. This phase of my life has given me a new perspective on "health", which is why I truly love working with people on their relationship with food from a weight-neutral perspective. Outside of being an RD, I am also a Certified Personal Trainer.
Approach to care
I believe in making small, sustainable changes. There is no "one-size fits all" and I enjoy working with my clients to determine what approach they will respond to best. If I were to use two words to describe my approach, it would be "accountability" and "education".
Your first session with Rebecca
In your first session with me, you can expect to be doing most of the talking! I will be asking you specific questions to get to know you your wants and needs, and your history. I want to gather the important information from you that will allow us to establish a plan of working together.
