About Rebecca
Rebecca is a Registered Dietitian with a diverse background in Public Health and Animal Science. In addition to outpatient nutrition counseling, she works as a clinical dietitian in a hospital and as a research dietitian at Rutgers University. During her studies, she was inspired by how the food choices we make day in and day out affect our overall health and longevity. In addition to nutrition, distance running has been one of her lifelong passions. As a runner, she understands how important fueling is during training and recovery to get you successfully across the finish line. She looks forward to working with you to reach your own personal nutritional goals!
Approach to care
Each person is unique. I know commercial diets are unrealistic, restrictive, and often do not work long-term. I focus on your own unique goals and the realities of your life.
Your first session with Rebecca
At your first visit, we will first be reviewing your medical, dietary, and exercise history. Next, we will discuss your lifestyle and nutritional goals. These goals typically start with a small and realistic change based on your current lifestyle and desired outcome. I will answer any nutritional related questions you may have and provide nutrition education as desired. The initial visit typically lasts 1 hour.
