About Rebecca
Experienced Registered Dietitian and Nutrition Consultant with a demonstrated history working in clinical settings, the higher education industry, research, and community outreach. Strong focus on weight inclusive nutrition education, and hormone interaction later in life.
Approach to care
My approach to care as a dietitian is centered on combining evidence-based nutrition guidance with empathy and understanding. I strive to create a supportive environment where individuals feel heard, respected, and empowered to share their experiences and challenges. By taking the time to understand each person’s unique health needs, lifestyle, cultural background, and personal goals, I am able to develop individualized nutrition plans that are both practical and sustainable. I believe in working collaboratively, setting realistic goals together, and providing ongoing encouragement to help foster lasting, positive changes. At the heart of my practice is the commitment to not only improve physical health but also to nurture a balanced and positive relationship with food.
Your first session with Rebecca
At the first session with me as a dietitian, patients can expect a welcoming and supportive conversation focused on understanding their unique needs and goals. I begin by discussing medical history, current health concerns, lifestyle habits, and eating patterns. I ask open-ended questions to learn more about personal preferences, cultural influences, and any challenges with food or nutrition. This is also an opportunity for patients to share their priorities and expectations, so I can tailor care to their individual circumstances. Together, we outline realistic, achievable goals and discuss initial strategies to support progress. My approach in the first session is not about judgment or strict rules, but about building trust, offering guidance, and creating a personalized plan that feels both manageable and sustainable.
