About Rebecca
Rebecca started her career working for 5 years as a Clinical Dietitian in the hospital setting where she learned to treat a variety of disease states & cared for critically ill patients through nutrition support. In the past 5 years she has worked as an outpatient dietitian teaching diabetes, women’s health, & weight management education. She has experience in diabetes, women’s health (hormone imbalances, pregnancy, post-partum care, gestational diabetes, PCOS, pre-conception nutrition counseling), weight loss, GI disorders, & heart disease. Rebecca is most passionate about diabetes management and prevention & has helped thousands of people lower their A1c & improve their quality of life.
Approach to care
Rebecca enjoys empowering others through healthy eating and lifestyle changes. She believes all foods fit in our diet and loves educating her patients on how to properly nourish their body to achieve their health goals. Rebecca enjoys meeting her patients where they are and teaches from a non-judgmental approach. She works hard to build relationships with her patients where they feel cared for and understood.
Your first session with Rebecca
During your first session, Rebecca's goal is to get to know you better. She'll ask many questions regarding your medical history, current day to day life, nutrition habits, and goals. This will help her come up with a plan that is customized to your specific needs. Rebecca will introduce nutrition concepts to get you started and will partner with you to help you achieve your goals.
