About Rebecca
Food and science have always felt like a natural pair for me. With an MS in Nutritional Science from California State University Los Angeles and six years working as an RD, I've supported people across community health programs, hospital floors, and outpatient clinics. I work with people managing diabetes, heart disease, kidney conditions, and weight concerns, translating clinical evidence into realistic daily steps. When I'm not working I recharge by hiking, running, reading, and experimenting in the kitchen.
Approach to care
Nutrition counseling should be evidence-based, compassionate, and useful in the real world. I combine current research with a warm, nonjudgmental approach so we can focus on sustainable habits, not quick fixes. We’ll work in a weight-neutral way that centers behaviors, and consider the whole person, including sleep, stress, movement, and your emotional relationship with food. Together we’ll set clear, practical steps and I’ll explain the why so you can make informed choices that last.
Your first session with Rebecca
We’ll start by looking over any lab work and biometrics you have, then review your medical history so we understand the full picture. I want to hear what matters most to you, your desired outcomes, and the everyday routines that help or hold you back. This is a low-pressure, judgment-free conversation, so you don’t need to have everything figured out. Together we’ll identify a couple of manageable first steps and a plan that feels doable and sustainable.
