About Renee

Hi, I'm Renée. With 26 years as a Registered Dietitian, I bring a science-based, compassionate approach to nutrition therapy. My clinical and hospital work, along with community health experience, have given me extensive opportunities to work with people of all ages and medical conditions. It taught me to listen deeply and tailor plans that fit real lives. I’m grateful through my practice to become a Certified Diabetes Education Care Specialist (CDCES) and enhance my work with people who have all type of diabetes. My focus is blending evidence with empathy to support lasting change.

Approach to care

My care philosophy is grounded in evidence and humanity. I believe nutrition is a tool for wellness that should fit your life, not add stress. It is at the core of many medical conditions and can greatly improve one’s outcome and longevity. Together we’ll translate current science into practical steps, set clear actions, and track progress with compassionate accountability. I practice a weight-neutral, informed approach while focusing on sustainable habits rather than quick fixes. We’ll consider the whole person, including sleep, stress, movement, and relationships, so you feel supported, empowered, and capable of lasting change.

Your first session with Renee

Our first appointment is all about you. We'll review your medical history, labs and biometrics to aid in establishing short-term goals that feel doable. You'll have space to share what matters most, what has worked, and what hasn't, in a non-judgmental setting. No need to have it all figured out yet; we'll explore together and set a couple of realistic next steps. By the end, you’ll leave with a sense of direction and a plan that respects your pace and priorities.
