About Renee

Hi, I’m Renee Hertenberger, a Registered Dietitian passionate about integrative medicine and using food to enhance health. I believe food connects us to social, psychological, and behavioral aspects of life. I create a supportive space for discussions around food and body concerns, viewing food as a tool to nurture health and strengthen the mind-body connection. While combining evidence-based practice with compassion, I help clients set and achieve sustainable goals. My goal is to educate patients concerned with chronic illnesses on lifestyle adjustments tailored to their personal needs, goals, and lifestyle. As a dietitian I hope to help individuals develop a healthier relationship with food and their bodies, empowering them to live a life filled with the experiences they seek.

Approach to care

My approach to care is typically patient-centered, focusing on a comprehensive assessment of individual needs, with the intent to develop a personalized approach based on lifestyle, personal preferences, health conditions while providing ongoing education and support to promote sustainable dietary and lifestyle changes.

Your first session with Renee

In the first session I like to introduce myself and ask questions that allow me to know my patient through understanding their lifestyle, their goals, and expectations. This allows me to create an individualized approach and path of care that supports my patient's needs making their goals not only feasible but attainable for life.
