About Riley
My name is Riley, and I am a registered dietitian on a mission to help individuals and family systems build an empowering relationship with food and body. I believe that nutrition can be simple, accessible, and intuitive. Outside of my work, you can find me backpacking through the forest, exploring hikes near and far, snowboarding in the winter, or practicing lyra (aerial hoop).
Approach to care
My approach is grounded in health at every size, respecting the inherent diversity of body shapes and sizes and rejecting the idealizing or pathologizing of specific body weights. I use a holistic approach to eating disorder recovery and wellbeing by incorporating respectful care and collaboration with my clients, using evidence-based medical nutrition therapy, nutrition education, intuitive eating, food exposure challenges, goal setting, coordinating care with your healthcare team, and meeting you where you are at. β
Your first session with Riley
In our first meeting, you can expect a warm, supportive conversation focused on you and your goals. We will explore your health, lifestyle, and relationship with food. Rather than jumping into meal plans or rigid rules, the goal is to get to know you as a whole person. I want to learn about your eating patterns, medical history, energy levels, stress, sleep, movement, cultural background, and how food fits into your life emotionally and socially. Together, we will identify goals that are meaningful and realistic, rooted in your values, so that we can create a personalized, sustainable path forward. Most importantly, this session begins a partnership grounded in trust, compassion, and respect. I am here to walk alongside you, offering gentle guidance and support as you build a more peaceful, nourishing relationship with food and your body.
