About Rosa

Hi, I’m Rosa, a Registered Dietitian with two years of experience. I earned my Master of Clinical Nutrition from UT Southwestern Medical Center and a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology from Baylor University. My professional path spans corporate wellness, community health, sports nutrition, and clinical hospital settings, where I’ve learned how nutrition fits into real life. I bring my love of cooking, staying active, and coaching athletes to every session, and you’ll often find me in the gym, hunting on the weekend, or curled up with a good book. I am grateful to partner with you on your health journey.

Approach to care

As a health care provider, I blend evidence with empathy and a practical mindset. I believe in an evidence-based, science-focused approach, yet I meet you where you are and celebrate small wins along the way. We’ll set clear, actionable steps and track progress together, with accountability that fits your life. My practice embraces weight-neutral mindset, focusing on sustainable habits rather than quick fixes. I view you holistically, considering sleep, stress, activity, and food, and I aim to educate you so you can make informed decisions long after our sessions end.

Your first session with Rosa

Our first appointment is an introductory session that lays the foundation for our care. We’ll take a collaborative approach and dive into your background, medical history, current routines, and what you hope to achieve. You don’t need to have every detail figured out yet; we’ll uncover your WHY together and set a couple of realistic next steps. I want you to feel supported, not judged, and to leave with clarity about how we’ll move forward as a team.
