About Rose
Rose is a registered dietitian who received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in Clinical Nutrition from New York University. She completed her dietetic internship at NYU as well, a program that has a strong focus on medical nutrition therapy.Rose is personable, compassionate, and is often described as having a calming presence. Rose will make you feel comfortable in your sessions and confident in your ability to make meaningful changes.
Approach to care
Rose believes in a personalized approach to nutrition, understanding that every person is dealing with a unique situation. She uses science based evidence and a holistic approach to tailor nutrition plans to clients’ individual needs and preferences. She also believes that all foods can fit into a healthy diet and uses a non-diet approach to nutrition. Rose will empower you while also holding you accountable.
Your first session with Rose
In your first session you can expect Rose to ask questions that will help her gain a better understanding of your nutritional background and health goals. This is a great opportunity for Rose to learn more about you and what you are looking to achieve in nutrition counseling. By the end of your first session, Rose will put together a general nutrition plan and, in follow up sessions, Rose will continue to adjust the plan to better meet your needs as she continues to learn more about you.
