About Rose

Hi there! My name is Rose, and I am a clinical dietitian specializing in general medicine, cardiovascular health, diabetes/pre-diabetes, chronic kidney disease, and enteral (tube) feeding. My approach is evidence-based and patient-centered, with a focus on translating complex medical nutrition therapy into realistic, sustainable strategies that fit your everyday life. Outside of my clinical work, I am a classically trained ballet dancer with over 20 years of experience, which has shaped my appreciation for discipline, movement, and the connection between physical health and overall well-being. I share my home with a sweet rescue puppy named Lady and enjoy spending my free time reading and cooking nourishing meals at home.

Approach to care

I take an individualized, patient-centered approach to nutrition care, recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all plan. Together, we break down big health goals into manageable, bite-sized steps that feel realistic and achievable in your everyday life. I believe nutrition should support your life - not restrict it. I will never ask you to eliminate your favorite foods; instead, we will thoughtfully incorporate them into a balanced plan that aligns with your medical needs, preferences, culture, and lifestyle. Our work focuses on building sustainable habits over time, rather than quick fixes or crash diets that often lead to frustration and burnout. By setting progressive, achievable goals, we create lasting change that supports both your health and your relationship with food.

Your first session with Rose

Your first nutrition session is all about getting to know you. We’ll start by discussing what brought you to Nourish and what you’re hoping to achieve through nutrition care. We’ll review your medical history, nutrition history, lifestyle, and any past experiences with food or dieting that may be relevant. Together, we’ll identify your priorities and begin setting realistic, personalized goals that align with your health needs and daily life. This is a collaborative process, and our focus is on creating a clear, supportive starting point and outlining next steps that feel manageable and sustainable. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with bite-sized goals tailored to you and a shared understanding of how we’ll continue to build toward them over time.
