About Rosetta

Rosetta is an experienced registered dietitian with 35 years of experience in healthcare both as a clinical dietitian and as a clinical nutrition manager. She had most of her experience at a major teaching hospital (LSU and Tulane affiliated) in New Orleans, LA. She has worked in a variety of settings both inpatient and outpatient nutrition care. Most recently she has worked in bariatric nutrition and has expertise with clients on their journey pre- and post-surgery She has been accountable for many health-related outcomes within her role in a major teaching hospital. She is approachable, down to earth, and understands food culture and how it relates to family ties and social life.

Approach to care

Growing up in the south Rosetta truly understands the "culture of food" in living your best life. She has worked with clients who have a challenging environment who live in a culture of festivals, parties, family traditions, and many other lifestyle choices. She will help you navigate a realistic and do-able approach focusing on you, your family and/or single life and your need to be successful without compromising what is important to you.

Your first session with Rosetta

Rosetta will begin by learning about your living situation. She will ask about your previous diet attempts, medications, and your preferred eating patterns. She will inquire about your procurement and preparation of your meals. She also will get to know your day-to-day life your stressors, your work situation, and challenges. Therefore, once she gets to know her client, she can cater something that the client can be excited about and implement.
