About Ruth
Hi, Iām Ruth! Iām so glad youāre here. I became a dietitian because I believe nutrition should feel empoweringānot stressful or confusingāand Iām passionate about helping people build healthier relationships with food that truly fit their lives. Iām a Registered Dietitian with a Masterās in Public Health. My background allows me to bring both a clinical and systems-level perspective to your care, helping you understand not just what to do, but why it matters and how to make sustainable changes in real-life settings. Iāve worked with clients across a wide range of needs, including chronic disease management, digestive issues, weight concerns, wellness and prevention, and behavior-change coaching.
Approach to care
My approach to care combines evidence-based nutrition with a client-centered, practical mindset. I take time to understand your health history, lifestyle, and personal goals so we can create a plan that fits your real lifeānot an idealized version of it. I emphasize education, achievable habit-building, and supportive accountability. My aim is to empower you with tools, clarity, and confidence while providing a compassionate, judgment-free space where you can openly explore challenges and make meaningful, sustainable progress.
Your first session with Ruth
Whether you want more energy, support around a medical condition, clarity on food choices, or a healthier, more balanced relationship with eating, Iām here to help you every step of the way. Weāll work together to create realistic habits that help you feel confident, capable, and cared for.
