About Ryan
Hi, I’m Ryan. I believe nutrition works best when it is clear, practical, and built around your real life. Most people do not need extremes. They need structure, consistency, and a plan that makes sense for their goals. I have spent more than a decade working in collegiate athletics as a sports dietitian and strength coach. I also teach graduate level sports nutrition, which keeps me grounded in research and evidence based practice. That combination shapes how I support clients today. I work with adults looking to improve general health, lose weight in a sustainable way, gain healthy weight or muscle, and build long term strength and consistency. I also have a strong interest in men’s health and performance focused nutrition. Whether you are training regularly or simply trying to feel better day to day, we will build a plan that fits your schedule and responsibilities. Outside of work, I enjoy lifting, hardcore and punk music, tending tropical plants, reading, and hiking.
Approach to care
My care philosophy is collaborative, educational, and grounded in evidence. I treat nutrition as a science that should be practical and applicable in daily life. We focus on sustainable habits and realistic expectations rather than quick fixes. Whether your goal is weight loss, weight gain, improved performance, or better overall health, we will build a strategy that supports steady progress. I believe you should understand why we are making certain changes. Together, we translate research into practical steps, monitor meaningful progress, and adjust as needed. My goal is for you to feel capable, informed, and confident managing your health long term.
Your first session with Ryan
Our first appointment is focused on understanding you and your goals. We will have a structured conversation where I learn about your health history, lab work if available, training or activity level, daily routine, and what you are hoping to change. We will identify patterns, clarify priorities, and establish one or two practical goals to begin building momentum. You do not need to come in with a perfect plan. My role is to help organize the information, explain what matters most, and outline a clear next step. Before the session ends, you will leave with specific actions to focus on and a better understanding of how your daily habits connect to your long term goals. The goal is clarity and direction, not overwhelm.
