About Ryan
I am passionate about helping you feel and become equipped with the tools to lead a healthy life! I was born lifeless, asthmatic, and very sick growing up, so learning how to take care of myself through nutrition and movement became paramount if I wanted to change the script. I am a firm believe in experimenting with research-based modifications to find what works best for your body-type and health conditions. With my combination of experimenting different diets and working in different nutrition contexts (hospitals and primary care facilities), I am excited to help you become equipped with what you need to live a healthy life!
Approach to care
Imagine a season of your life where you changed anywhere from five to ten behaviors in your life to support the life and health you want to have. I believe in a patient-centered method where I seek to meet you in how you would like to improve your health. My goal with you is to educate, equip, and encourage you to adopt healthy behaviors to support the life you want to live. As a registered dietitian, it is my goal to always be prepared with relevant research to help guide you to a healthier and happier life!
Your first session with Ryan
In your first session, I am going to gain a baseline understanding of your current state of well-being that is influenced by your health. Next, I will assess your knowledge so that you and I can be on the same page about how to best move forward with taking actionable steps. Finally, we will discuss at least one talking point pertaining to your current health to offer a direction for follow-up visits. We will conclude with one to three goals. Be prepared for me to ask fun ice-breaker questions!
