About Sabrina
Hi, I'm Sabrina, a Registered Dietitian with an MPH in Nutrition. I am passionate about the intersection of public health and nutrition. I believe in the power of nutrition to help treat and prevent chronic disease. I bring experience in research and academia, where I learned to translate science into practical guidance. I work as an RD, helping to make evidence based recommendations fit your unique lifestyle. In my free time, I love hiking, tennis, reading, cooking, and ceramics. I aim for warm, collaborative care that helps you build sustainable changes that make sense for your lifestyle.
Approach to care
My care philosophy is built on evidence-based science, warmth, and collaboration. I believe food is more than nutrients; it's at the center of our lives and brings so much joy and connection to others. We’ll work together to create a plan with clear, and realistic steps and regular check-ins. I practice from a weight-neutral HAES perspective and prioritize long-term, sustainable habits over quick fixes. I truly believe in the power of balance and that all foods can fit a healthy lifestyle in moderation! I find importance in looking at different aspects of your lifestyle holistically to find solutions that work for you. I find value in teaching you the why behind every choice so you feel confident moving forward.
Your first session with Sabrina
Our first appointment is all about you. We will spend some time getting to know each other so that you are able to feel comfortable talking with me! We'll review your medical history and any recent lab work or biometrics, discuss your daily routines, stress, sleep, and relationship with food. You can think of our first session as the first step in a collaborative care process. Together, we will build a foundation of trust that is free of judgement to build on throughout our time together. There is no need to feel pressure of having your goals figured out. When you are ready, we can identify 1 to 2 realistic short-term goals and outline practical first steps so you leave with clarity and a path you can start today.
