About Sally
Social media and YouTube are rarely reliable for nutrition, but I am, and I want to help you feel your best. Food and people have been central my whole life, shaping how I practice as an RD. I earned my BS in Dietetics from Kansas State University and have worked in hospital clinical settings as well as private practice, helping patients sort through confusing nutrition messages. I enjoy gardening and am active in my community. Most importantly my 138 to 222 pounds, I know how hard it is to get and stay healthy by setting realistic goals. Let’s talk!
Approach to care
Evidence matters, and I translate the science into straightforward, practical steps we'll use together. I work in a compassionate, judgment-free way, focusing on sustainable habits rather than short-term fixes. Using a weight-neutral, Health At Every Size lens, I center behaviors and wellbeing instead of a number on the scale. I combine clear, action-oriented guidance with education so you understand why changes matter, and I consider the whole person, not just what’s on your plate.
Your first session with Sally
Expect a relaxed, collaborative conversation where we'll review your medical history, look at your current eating habits, and establish short-term goals that feel doable. You don't need to have everything figured out before you come. I'll provide sound, evidence-based nutrition information you can use right away.
