About Sally
Iāve been a Registered Dietitian for 4 years, with over a decade of experience in food service, community programs, and geriatrics. Iāve worked with people from many cultural backgrounds because I love learning about food traditions and helping others enjoy their favorite meals in healthier, sustainable ways. I believe thereās no one-size-fits-all approach; nutrition should be personal and meaningful. My passion for clinical nutrition led me to specialize in working with Transplant patients, Iāve had the privilege of supporting patients before and after transplant, building lasting relationships that blend clinical expertise with counseling. At Nourish, I bring this same approach - combining medical knowledge, cultural awareness, and genuine connection, to help clients reach their goals in a way that feels approachable and realistic.
Approach to care
My approach isnāt about quick-fix diets. itās about building sustainable habits that fit your lifestyle. I focus on helping you understand the importance of nutrition while showing you how to enjoy your favorite meals in healthier ways. I believe food should never feel like the enemy - itās fuel, comfort, and connection. I also work to clear up confusion by debunking nutrition myths and replacing them with practical, evidence-based strategies you can trust. My goal is to help you feel confident in your choices, honor your culture and preferences, and know that you donāt have to sacrifice flavor or tradition to eat well. All of my counseling is rooted in science and personalized to you. My style is motivating, understanding, evidence-driven, and professional; always keeping the human side of nutrition at the center. My daily Motto I tell all patients: āYou donāt have to give up your favorite foods - you just have to make them work for you.ā
Your first session with Sally
In our first session, Iāll spend time getting to know youāyour health history, daily routines, food preferences, and nutrition goals. This is a judgment-free space where you can share openly about your relationship with food, any challenges youāve faced, and what you hope to achieve. Weāll work together to identify practical, realistic goals and start building a personalized plan that fits into your lifestyle and cultural background. Iāll also clear up any nutrition myths you may have heard and provide evidence-based guidance you can trust. By the end of our session, youāll leave with clear next steps and a sense of directionānot a rigid diet, but a plan that feels doable and tailored to you.
