About Sally

I’ve been a Registered Dietitian for 4 years, with over a decade of experience in food service, community programs, and geriatrics. I’ve worked with people from many cultural backgrounds because I love learning about food traditions and helping others enjoy their favorite meals in healthier, sustainable ways. I believe there’s no one-size-fits-all approach - nutrition should be personal and meaningful. My passion for clinical nutrition led me to specialize in working with Heart Transplant patients, I’ve had the privilege of supporting patients before and after transplant, building lasting relationships that blend clinical expertise with counseling. At Nourish, I bring this same approach —combining medical knowledge, cultural awareness, and genuine connection, to help clients reach their goals in a way that feels approachable and realistic.

Approach to care

My approach isn’t about quick-fix diets—it’s about building sustainable habits that fit your lifestyle. I focus on helping you understand the importance of nutrition while showing you how to enjoy your favorite meals in healthier ways. I believe food should never feel like the enemy—it’s fuel, comfort, and connection. I also work to clear up confusion by debunking nutrition myths and replacing them with practical, evidence-based strategies you can trust. My goal is to help you feel confident in your choices, honor your culture and preferences, and know that you don’t have to sacrifice flavor or tradition to eat well. All of my counseling is rooted in science and personalized to you. My style is motivating, understanding, evidence-driven, and professional—always keeping the human side of nutrition at the center. My daily Motto I tell all patients: “You don’t have to give up your favorite foods - you just have to make them work for you.”

Your first session with Sally

In our first session, I’ll spend time getting to know you—your health history, daily routines, food preferences, and nutrition goals. This is a judgment-free space where you can share openly about your relationship with food, any challenges you’ve faced, and what you hope to achieve. We’ll work together to identify practical, realistic goals and start building a personalized plan that fits into your lifestyle and cultural background. I’ll also clear up any nutrition myths you may have heard and provide evidence-based guidance you can trust. By the end of our session, you’ll leave with clear next steps and a sense of direction—not a rigid diet, but a plan that feels doable and tailored to you.
