About Sam

Hi, I’m Sam — a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN, LD/N). I work with people who want nutrition support that actually fits their life. You might feel stuck in the cycle of starting over. You might have had labs come back “borderline.” You might have received a new diagnosis and want to be proactive before things escalate. Many of my clients are smart, motivated, and tired of plans that only work when life is calm. Work gets busy. Stress happens. Social plans exist. Nutrition still has to work there. My role is to help you cut through the noise, understand what matters most for your body, and build an approach to eating that feels realistic, supportive, and sustainable — not rigid or all-or-nothing.

Approach to care

I don’t believe in forcing nutrition to work through willpower, restriction, or constant tracking. If an approach only works when life is perfect, it’s not a long-term solution. My focus is on helping you understand why your body responds the way it does, then building habits and routines that support your health in a realistic way. Often, that means simplifying instead of adding more rules. We may use labs, data, or tracking when they provide clarity or guide decisions, especially after a new diagnosis or concerning results. But numbers are never viewed in isolation. Context matters. Symptoms matter. Sustainability matters. The goal isn’t perfection. It’s progress you can maintain — even when life is busy, stressful, or unpredictable.

Your first session with Sam

Your first session is a focused, working conversation. We’ll talk through your health history, current routines, and what prompted you to book so we’re clear on what matters most right now. You’ll leave the session with clear priorities based on your goals and health needs. You’ll have one to three habit-aligned actions you can start immediately. You’ll also have a clear direction forward, including what we’re focusing on now and what doesn’t need attention yet. The priority is that you leave feeling confident, grounded, and supported, with a plan that fits your current life — not a long list of rules or a total overhaul.
