About Samantha
I have a profound passion for the field of nutrition. This passion as brought me clinical experiences in weight loss, adult nutrition, and chronic kidney disease. I completed my Bachelors degree in dietetics at Sacramento State University, which then led me to complete my dietetic internship to become a dietitian. I recently completed my Masters degree in dietetic administration through Utah State University.
Approach to care
I believe in moderation and tailored nutrition care. No diet or method/approach is right for every person. We are all on our own nutrition journey. Due to this, I am a strong advocate for enjoying food while still making efforts to reach personal goals or manage comorbidities.
Your first session with Samantha
During the first session, I would like to spend it getting to know you, your goals, and background. General questions answered, goal setting, health history such as medications and supplements, procedures, how you want food to fit into your daily life. These details and more will help me help you.
