About Samantha
I am a graduate of the Coordinated Dietetics Program at the University of Connecticut and currently work as a weight management and bariatric surgery dietitian. I predominately work with children and young adults, but I am open to working with patients of all ages.
Approach to care
I support individuals and families across the spectrum of care, including lifestyle-based interventions, anti-obesity medication management, and bariatric surgery. My approach is patient-centered and grounded in motivational interviewing and collaborative goal setting, with a focus on creating realistic, sustainable changes that fit each patient’s life.
Your first session with Samantha
During your first session with me, you can expect a supportive, judgment free conversation focused on getting to know you. We will review your medical history, nutrition habits, lifestyle, and personal goals, while discussing past experiences with weight management. Together, we will identify priorities and develop individualized, achievable goals that align with your values and readiness for change. You will leave the session with practical strategies and a clear plan to help you move forward with confidence.
