About Samantha

Hi, I'm Samantha, a Registered Dietitian based in San Francisco. I bring 3 years of experience across corporate wellness, community health, and eating disorders, supported by my MS in Nutrition Science and my BS in Sociology. I practice with warmth, curiosity, and a focus on real, sustainable change. My work is shaped by Health At Every Size, Intuitive Eating and a holistic view of health that honors mind, body, and environment. I am currently working toward my certification as an Intuitive Eating Counselor, and I enjoy hiking, astrology, Trader Joe’s runs, and collecting rocks in my spare time. I’m glad you’re here, and I’m excited to learn your story.

Approach to care

I believe care should be collaborative, evidence based, and tailored to you. My approach blends current science with empathy and warmth, helping you understand how your body signals hunger, fullness, and preferences. Together we set clear, achievable steps and track progress in a compassionate, nonjudgmental way. I practice through a Health At Every Size lens, focusing on behaviors, relationship with food, sleep, stress, and activity, no numbers. The work is holistic, addressing mental and physical health and the learning that supports lasting change. I aim to educate you so you can make informed choices that fit your life and empower your long term well being.

Your first session with Samantha

Think of our first session as a conversation, not an evaluation. Our time is about you and your goals. We'll start with a gentle exploration of your relationship with food, review your medical history, and get to know your daily routines and values. You don't need to have it all figured out. We’ll identify a couple of small, sustainable steps you feel comfortable trying, and we'll set a realistic plan for the coming weeks. I want you to feel heard, supported, and hopeful as we begin this collaborative process.
