About Sandra

"With years of experience as an RD, I specialize in evidence-based nutrition for disease prevention, and management. I've helped clients successfully implement desired changes to achieve their nutritional and life style goals and significantly improve dietary compliance through personalized meal planning and comprehensive nutritional assessment, interventions, and monitoring. As RD with educational background in Clinical Psychology, I'm driven to empower individuals to take control of their both physical and mental health and see tangible results.

Approach to care

I am a highly collaborative and patient-focused individual dedicated to promoting optimal health and nutrition with strong ability to educate and motivate diverse populations, leveraging empathetic communication and persuasive skills to foster positive dietary changes. I have extensive knowledge in dietary planning and nutritional counseling, ensuring comprehensive and personalized care. My commitment to cooperative approach, working closely with clients and healthcare teams helps to achieve sustainable health outcomes.

Your first session with Sandra

Our first session (around 60 mins) is a thorough, non-judgmental, client focused interview upon which I'll ask about your health/diet history, lifestyle, habits (sleep, stress, exercise), and goals, focusing on building a trusting relationship and getting to know you and understand your specific needs in order to design the best possible, individual approach, that would help you implement desired changes. We will discuss your current eating patterns (maybe review a food diary) and everyday routine, and by the end, we will likely set-up with 1-3 small, actionable steps and a plan for follow-up visits to create a personalized, sustainable path forward, not restrictive rules.
