About Sandra

Hi! I'm Sandra, a dietitian with roots in western Maryland, where I grew up at the base of the Appalachian Mountains. I earned my degree from Utah State University and began my career at an eating disorder recovery center called Center for Change. It was there that I discovered my passion for supporting clients navigating eating disorder recovery, and that passion continues to inspire my work today. After moving to Dallas with my husband, I transitioned into private practice, broadening my expertise to include sports nutrition, insulin resistance management, and GLP-1 therapy, and more. I love working collaboratively with my clients to empower them on their unique health journeys

Approach to care

I'm a weight-neutral, food-positive dietitian. I focus on helping individuals discover personalized eating habits that work for their unique needs—free from the constraints of diet culture. My approach is based in the belief that health is multifaceted, with diet and weight being only parts of the bigger picture. Through open and exploratory conversations, I aim to provide a supportive space where clients can gain confidence in their choices and nurture their well-being without judgment or rigid rules.

Your first session with Sandra

The first session is dedicated to understanding your goals, needs, and lifestyle so we can collaborate on how to fit it all together. Expect a relaxed, conversational atmosphere where I’ll ask plenty of questions to better understand your unique story. You’re welcome to share as much as you feel comfortable—there’s no such thing as talking too much!
