About Saniyah
Hi, I’m Saniyah! My passion for nutrition began as a teenager, inspired by the profound impact a dietitian had on my grandfather during his battle with stage IV pancreatic cancer. Watching how nutrition care uplifted his spirit—even in the most difficult times—sparked my journey into dietetics and continues to fuel my dedication to helping others. Before joining Nourish, I worked as a clinical dietitian with Mount Sinai Health Systems in New York City and gained specialized experience as a renal dietitian in dialysis care. These roles sharpened my clinical skills and deepened my understanding of the many ways nutrition can support healing, resilience, and overall wellness.
Approach to care
My approach is rooted in mindfulness, cultural awareness, and connection. Raised in a Pakistani household, food has always been more than nourishment—it’s been a source of tradition, joy, and community. I bring that perspective into every session, helping my patients build balanced, personalized nutrition habits that honor their unique backgrounds and lifestyles.
Your first session with Saniyah
Working with me means you’ll be seen, heard, and supported. I aim to empower—not overwhelm—through compassionate care, practical guidance, and a focus on long-term sustainability. I’m not here to give you a one-size-fits-all plan. I’m here to meet you where you are, help you tune into your body’s needs, and build a lasting, positive relationship with food. Let’s make food feel good again—without guilt, without pressure, and with a whole lot of intention!
