About Sara

I’m a Registered Dietitian with a Master of Science in Nutrition and a diverse background spanning long-term care, inpatient and outpatient mental health, level I trauma, and dialysis. These experiences have shaped my belief that nutrition should be practical, realistic, and personalized. I’m also a busy working mom, so I understand firsthand the challenge of balancing health goals with real-life demands. My goal is to help you find changes that truly fit your life and make you feel your best without perfection or all-or-nothing thinking.

Approach to care

My approach is centered on making small, realistic nutrition and lifestyle changes that feel doable and sustainable. I believe in meeting you where you are and helping you build habits step by step so you can confidently work toward your long-term goals. I use collaborative goal-setting to keep you in the driver’s seat. Your preferences, challenges, and values guide our plan. My practice is weight-inclusive to create a supportive and non-judgmental space for all individuals. My aim is to empower you with tools and knowledge that help you feel your best, both now and in the long run.

Your first session with Sara

In our first session, my goal is to get to know you! This includes your story, your health background, and what brings you to nutrition counseling. We’ll talk through your past medical history, your nutrition- and lifestyle-related history, and any symptoms or concerns you’re experiencing. I’ll ask about your current habits, what you’ve tried in the past, and what has or hasn’t worked for you. Together, we’ll clarify your nutrition and health goals and discuss what you’d like to focus on moving forward. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer understanding of the steps we can take together and what support you can expect in our future visits.
