About Sara

Hi, my name is Sara, and I have been a Registered Dietitian for over 10 years. I am experienced working with others from diverse ethnic/cultural, social, and economic backgrounds. I am passionate about helping others reach their health goals in a safe and sustainable manner using evidence-based practices. I have a background in women's health, healthy aging and managing medical conditions such as PCOS, heart health, diabetes, hypothyroidism, weight management, disordered eating and many more.

Approach to care

I prefer to take a weight neutral approach with my clients so that the focus remains on healthy behaviors above all else. I incorporate the principles of intuitive eating throughout my sessions to help you understand how to use nutrition knowledge in a manner that serves you and does not create unhealthy eating habits or unsustainable movement practices. I like to work from a space of non-judgement when we discuss your eating habits and instead operate with compassion and curiosity to gain insight into what drives your food behaviors and decisions. We will work together to set achievable health goals that are meaningful to you.

Your first session with Sara

During our first session, I will take time to understand your unique history as well as explore your relationship to food and body. We will discuss your medical history, weight history (if you feel comfortable), eating habits, movement practices, and set action steps to take each week.
