About Sara
Hi, I'm Sara, a Registered Dietitian with 9 years of experience. I earned my MPS in Nutrition Science from Penn State University and have spent time in school nutrition, where I saw how healthy eating habits begin with education and support. Outside the clinic, I love hiking, traveling, sipping tea with my cat on my lap, reading, singing, playing the French horn, baking, and staying active. I'm grateful for the chance to guide people toward a healthier relationship with food, one patient at a time.
Approach to care
My care philosophy is rooted in evidence-based practice, delivered with empathy and practical direction. We'll work together to translate science into real, sustainable changes that fit your life. I stay curious, ask questions, and meet you where you are, no judgments. I favor a holistic, weight-neutral approach that emphasizes habits, sleep, stress, and well-being, not dieting fads. Education is a key tool I use to help you feel confident making choices that last.
Your first session with Sara
Our first appointment is all about you. We'll review your medical history, establish short-term goals, and look at lab work and biometrics together to get a clear picture of where you are. You don't need to have everything figured out before we meet; it's a welcoming, low-pressure conversation. I'll listen to your story, share how nutrition can fit your life, and we'll leave with one or two SMART goals to get you moving forward with confidence.
