About Sara
My background and specialties are within sports and performance nutrition, REDs (relative energy deficiency), disordered eating/eating disorders, and navigating perimenopause. While I have experience working in collegiate athletics, with endurance athletes, and active individuals, it's my passion to help all clients dive deep into their relationship with food and body to improve their overall quality of life.
Approach to care
I am a non-diet, HAES-aligned dietitian. What does that mean? I believe that all bodies deserve the same care and respect. I believe food should be viewed as nourishment, not as "good or bad," or something to restrict or takeaway. I work with clients to improve their relationship with food and body, while also addressing underlying causes, past trauma, and/or beliefs about food and body.
Your first session with Sara
I want to get to know you outside of the reason you scheduled a session! We will dive deep into what's been going on, when, how, why it started, OR try to figure out the answer to those questions. I believe that most things nutrition-related stem from somewhere we might not expect, and we'll work together to uncover that. Then, we can circle back to why you're here, and create a plan of care that will set you up for success in your performance and overall health.
